Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 27/07/2035 from Nassau, Bahamas:

The Nassau venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Elliot Ewin (30 - 6) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Richard Shortt(1 - 1) from Waterbury, USA.  

Round 1: 

Ewin lands a cross to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Ewin quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Shortt lands a left uppercut.

Shortt advances into close range.  Ewin drives a right hook into Shortt's body.  Ewin attempts to land a left uppercut, but Shortt blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.

Shortt advances into close range.  Ewin lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.

Shortt is looking to close the distance.  Ewin throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot.  Ewin clinches his opponent.  Shortt leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Ewin pushes his forearm into Shortt's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Ewin about fouling.  
Shortt quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Ewin drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Ewin steps inside.  Shortt throws a left hook, but Ewin ties up his opponent.  Ewin is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ewin is on target with a left hook to Shortt's liver.  
Shortt connects with a right uppercut.  
Ewin lands a cross.  
Ewin lands a left hook.  
Ewin finds the target with a jab.
