Kenji Yoshida vs Isamu Kono

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 31/07/2035 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Kenji Yoshida (19 - 9) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Isamu Kono(4 - 9(2)) from Nagoya, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Yoshida waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Kono attempts to land a cross, but Yoshida blocks the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Kono sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Yoshida quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Yoshida lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.

Yoshida lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Yoshida quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Kono is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Yoshida is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Kono's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!

Kono advances into close range.  Yoshida pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a solid left uppercut.  
Kono gets on the inside.  Yoshida lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Yoshida tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Yoshida lands an overhand left.  
Kono is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Yoshida lands a cross.  
Yoshida feints a left, and then lands a spiteful jab.

Yoshida steps away from his opponent.  Yoshida feints a jab, but Kono is not fooled and is on target with a firm right uppercut.  
Kono gets on the inside.  Yoshida pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a solid left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Yoshida switches the action to the outside and attempts to land an overhand right, but Kono blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Kono advances into close range.  Yoshida throws a left hook, but misses the target.  Yoshida holds on to his opponent.  Kono is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Kono and breaks the clinch.  
Kono steps inside and lands a right hook followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents head.  Yoshida ties up his opponent.  Yoshida is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Yoshida.
