Juan Alcazar vs James Soltero

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 08/08/2035 from Los Angeles, USA:

The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Juan Alcazar (17 - 7) who hails from Oceanside, USA and James Soltero(5 - 18) from San Pedro, Philippines.  

Round 1: 

Soltero is looking to close the distance.  Alcazar drives a left hook into Soltero's ribs.  
Alcazar is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab.  
Soltero gets on the inside.  Alcazar lands a right hook.  
Alcazar lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Alcazar tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a stiff jab.  
Soltero connects with a left hook.  
Soltero connects with a right hook.  Soltero attempts to land a left hook, but Alcazar blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Soltero walks Alcazar down, trapping him on the ropes.  Soltero is on target with a left hook.  
Soltero cuts off the ring, trapping Alcazar on the ropes.  Soltero is on target with a left hook.  
Soltero closes the distance.  Alcazar lands a right uppercut.  
Alcazar tries to keep the action at long range.  Alcazar sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Soltero advances into close range.  Alcazar digs in a right hook to Soltero's ribs.  
Soltero is on target with a jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Alcazar's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.

Soltero gets on the inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Soltero throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Alcazar feints a right, and then hits the target with a sharp jab.  
Alcazar is on target with a left hook.  
Soltero sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Soltero steps inside.  Alcazar digs in a stinging left hook to Soltero's body.  
Soltero gets on the inside.  Alcazar is on target with a left uppercut.  
Alcazar is on target with a cross.  
Soltero throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Soltero is looking to close the distance and manouvers Alcazar onto the ropes.  Soltero throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Alcazar's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Alcazar tries to keep the action at long range and connects with a firm overhand right.  
Alcazar tries to land a jab, but Soltero slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
