The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Gareth Thang (33 - 19) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Ollie Helgerson(2 - 6) from Minneapolis, USA.  

Round 1: 

Thang is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Thang forces Helgerson to retreat onto the ropes.  Thang lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.

Thang manouvers Helgerson into the corner.  Thang lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.

Thang sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Helgerson lands a left hook.  Thang ties up his opponent.  Thang uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Helgerson's kidney. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Thang lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  Thang holds on to his opponent.  Thang leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Thang's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Thang forces Helgerson to retreat onto the ropes.  Helgerson attempts to land a left uppercut, but Thang blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Thang throws a right hook, but misses the target.  Thang ties up his opponent.  Helgerson is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Helgerson.  
Thang closes the distance and lands a left hook.  
Thang gets on the inside and lands a right hook.  
Helgerson pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a jab to his opponents body.  
Thang is on target with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Thang lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Thang cuts off the ring, trapping Helgerson on the ropes.  Thang quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a stinging right uppercut.  
Thang lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Thang hits home with a stinging right hook.  
Helgerson circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Thang tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Thang lands two left hook's to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Helgerson pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a jab.  Helgerson attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Thang to the neutral corner.  He warns Helgerson to stop fouling or he'll lose a point.  
Thang is looking to close the distance.  Helgerson throws a left hook, but Thang ties up his opponent.  Helgerson leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Thang manouvers Helgerson into a neutral corner.  Thang throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Thang tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Helgerson throws a left uppercut, but Thang ties up his opponent.  Helgerson tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Thang behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Helgerson to stop fouling.
