Quin Ruano vs Joaquin Landeros

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 15/12/2035 from Montevideo, Uruguay:

The Montevideo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Quin Ruano (31(3) - 8) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Joaquin Landeros(2 - 1) from Mexicali, Mexico.  

Round 1: 

Ruano advances into close range and drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.  
Ruano lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a jab to the head.  
Ruano steps inside and tries to land a left hook, but Landeros sidesteps and counters with a sharp left hook to his opponents body.

Ruano lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Ruano lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Ruano lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Landeros drives a solid left hook into Ruano's body.

Ruano steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Landeros almost instantly recovers. 
Ruano lands a solid jab.  
Landeros throws a left hook, but Ruano holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Ruano pushes his forearm into Landeros's face.  The referee warns Ruano and breaks the clinch.  
Ruano is on target with a sharp right uppercut.  
Landeros drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Ruano lands with a sharp jab.  
Landeros closes the distance and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Landeros steps inside and throws a right hook, but Ruano ties up his opponent.  Ruano leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ruano gets on the inside and throws a right uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Ruano holds on to his opponent.  Ruano throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Ruano is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Ruano lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Landeros quickly recovers. 
Ruano lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Ruano cuts off the ring, trapping Landeros on the ropes.  Ruano lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  
Ruano throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Ruano lands a left hook to the body followed by two straights to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Landeros recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
