Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 22/12/2035 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Greg Jervey (38 - 10) who hails from Orlando, USA and Jim MacLennan(6 - 8) from Virginia Beach, USA.  

Round 1: 

MacLennan advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Jervey is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Jervey sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  MacLennan throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
MacLennan closes the distance and lands a left hook.  MacLennan attempts to land a right hook, but Jervey parries the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
MacLennan walks Jervey onto the ropes.  MacLennan sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut.  
MacLennan is looking to close the distance.  MacLennan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

MacLennan walks Jervey onto the ropes.  MacLennan sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Jervey connects with a stinging left hook.  Jervey tries to land a left hook, but MacLennan parries the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.

MacLennan forces Jervey to back into the ropes.  MacLennan pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a firm left hook.  
MacLennan gets on the inside.  MacLennan pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Jervey steps to the outside and is on target with an overhand left.  
MacLennan advances into close range.  MacLennan sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Jervey digs in a left hook to MacLennan's body.  
MacLennan steps inside and walks Jervey down, trapping him on the ropes.  MacLennan pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut to Jervey's body.  
Jervey steps away from his opponent.  MacLennan attempts to land a jab, but Jervey parries the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
MacLennan lands a sharp cross.  
Jervey lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
MacLennan gets on the inside and is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents liver.

Jervey lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Jervey lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Jervey connects with a cross.  
Jervey lands a stinging jab.  
MacLennan steps inside and lands a solid right hook.  
Jervey switches the action to the outside.  MacLennan tries to land a jab, but Jervey sidesteps and counters with a solid left uppercut to MacLennan's liver.  
Jervey lands with a sharp jab.  
Jervey lands with a spiteful jab.  
Jervey finds the target with a jab.  
Jervey lands an overhand right followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Jervey's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.  MacLennan's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!

MacLennan advances into close range and throws a left hook, but Jervey clinches his opponent.  Jervey hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
MacLennan is looking to close the distance.  MacLennan pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Jervey is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
MacLennan closes the distance.  Jervey drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Jervey hits home with a right hook.  
MacLennan hits home with a right uppercut.  Jervey ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Jervey pushes his forearm into MacLennan's face.  The referee warns Jervey and breaks the clinch.

The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
