Boxing Daily Report from the Armenia National Finals 2020,  taking place on 11/03/2020 from Yerevan, Armenia:

The Yerevan venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ararad Kakussyan (11 - 2) who hails from Yerevan, Armenia and Avak Tabakian(7 - 3) from Yerevan, Armenia.  

Round 1: 

Kakussyan gets on the inside.  Kakussyan pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a solid right hook.  
Kakussyan gets on the inside.  Kakussyan sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Kakussyan throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Kakussyan tries to step out of his opponents range.  Kakussyan waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Tabakian lands a cross.  Tabakian throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Kakussyan pivots to the side of his opponent, but Tabakian lands a left hook.
