Angel Avella vs Fresco Beltran

Boxing Daily Report from the Chile National Finals 2020,  taking place on 11/03/2020 from Puente Alto, Chile:

The Puente Alto venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Bantamweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Angel Avella (7 - 3) who hails from Antofagasta, Chile and Fresco Beltran(13 - 1) from Maipu, Chile.  

Round 1: 

Beltran lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Avella lands with a stinging jab.

Avella snaps his opponents head back with a stiff jab.  Avella attempts to land a left hook, but Beltran blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Beltran is looking to close the distance.  Beltran sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Beltran steps inside.  Beltran sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Avella's body.  
Beltran is on target with a jab.  
Beltran lands a cross.  
Beltran is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross to Avella's body.  
Beltran advances into close range and is on target with a left hook.  
Beltran sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a left hook into Avella's ribs.  
Beltran forces Avella to back into the corner.  Beltran connects with a left uppercut.  
Beltran steps inside.  Beltran pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.
