Santiago Garcia vs Yago Velo

Boxing Daily Report from the Cuba National Finals 2020,  taking place on 11/03/2020 from Camaguey, Cuba:

The Camaguey venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Santiago Garcia (12 - 3) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Yago Velo(14 - 0) from Santiago de Cuba, Cuba.  

Round 1: 

Garcia switches the action to the outside and lands with a sharp jab.  
Garcia attempts to land a cross, but Velo sidesteps and counters with a right hook.

Velo sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Garcia lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.

Velo closes the distance.  Velo pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.
