Cisco Chia vs Jose Carrasco

Boxing Daily Report from the Ecuador National Finals 2020,  taking place on 11/03/2020 from Guayaquil, Ecuador:

The Guayaquil venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Cisco Chia (11 - 3) who hails from Quito, Ecuador and Jose Carrasco(14 - 1) from Guayaquil, Ecuador.  

Round 1: 

Chia is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a jab to his opponents body.  
Carrasco advances into close range.  Carrasco pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Carrasco is on target with a cross.  
Carrasco advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Chia voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Carrasco steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.
