Alejandro Muzquiz vs Elias Alfaro

Boxing Daily Report from the Argentina National Finals 2020,  taking place on 14/03/2020 from Salta, Argentina:

The Salta venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Light Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Alejandro Muzquiz (9 - 3) who hails from Resistencia, Argentina and Elias Alfaro(15 - 1) from Santa Fe de la Vera Cruz, Argentina.  

Round 1: 

Alfaro lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

Alfaro closes the distance and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Alfaro is looking to close the distance.  Muzquiz attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Alfaro's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Alfaro lands a stinging jab.  
Alfaro steps inside and lands a firm right uppercut.  
Alfaro gets on the inside and is on target with a firm right hook.  
Muzquiz steps away from his opponent and is on target with a cross to his opponents body.
