Boxing Daily Report from the Indonesia National Finals 2020,  taking place on 26/03/2020 from Samarinda, Indonesia:

The Samarinda venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Bantamweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Majid Shams (10 - 4) who hails from Surabaya, Indonesia and Wahyu Barkah(15 - 0) from Bekasi, Indonesia.  

Round 1: 

Barkah lands with a ramrod jab.

Shams lands a stinging left hook.  
Shams forces Barkah to back into a corner.  Shams digs in a solid left uppercut to Barkah's ribs.  Shams holds on to his opponent.  Barkah leans on his opponent using all his weight. Shams is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Shams and breaks the clinch.

Shams advances into close range and is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.
