Bryan Glasby vs Alastair McGuire

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 01/06/2037 from Las Vegas, USA:

The Las Vegas venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Bryan Glasby (49 - 17) who hails from Henderson, USA and Alastair McGuire(0 - 17) from New York City, USA.  

Round 1: 

Glasby is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross.

McGuire sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Glasby lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Glasby lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
McGuire manouvers Glasby onto the ropes.  McGuire pivots to the left of his opponent, but Glasby digs in a solid left hook to his opponents body.  
Glasby steps to the outside.  McGuire tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Glasby lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Glasby voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  McGuire accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Glasby.  
Glasby steps to the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Glasby steps to the outside and strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Glasby lands with a stinging jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Glasby's trainer is telling his fighter to play it safe for the remainder of the fight.
