Boxing Daily Report from the Kenya National Finals 2020,  taking place on 29/03/2020 from Kangundo-Tala, Kenya:

The Kangundo-Tala venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Light Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ewan Okoth (9 - 5) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Ian Ochiang(11 - 4) from Mombasa, Kenya.  

Round 1: 

Okoth steps to the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Okoth hits home with a stinging cross.  
Okoth switches the action to the outside and lands a cross.  
Ochiang gets on the inside.  Okoth is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Okoth lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Ochiang sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Okoth lands a left hook.

Okoth lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.

Okoth is looking to keep the action on the outside and connects with a solid cross.  
Okoth is looking to keep the action on the outside and attempts to land an overhand right, but Ochiang parries the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Ochiang manouvers Okoth onto the ropes.  Okoth lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Ochiang hits home with a solid left hook.  
Okoth is on target with a left uppercut.  
Okoth switches the action to the outside and lands a firm cross.  
Okoth hits home with a right hook.  
Ochiang steps inside and digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Okoth steps to the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Okoth hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Ochiang throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Okoth clinches his opponent.  Okoth is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Okoth to stop fouling.  
Ochiang drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.

Ochiang gets on the inside.  Ochiang sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Okoth digs in a left hook to Ochiang's body.  
Ochiang gets on the inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Okoth in the red corner.  Ochiang lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Ochiang pivots from in front of his opponent.  Ochiang lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Ochiang clinches his opponent.  Okoth hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Ochiang throws a right uppercut, but Okoth ties up his opponent.  Okoth hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Ochiang throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Ochiang holds on to his opponent.  Ochiang is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Okoth tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Ochiang behind the head. 
Ochiang lands a sharp right hook.  
Okoth is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with an overhand right.  
Okoth is looking to keep his distance and finds the target with a jab.  
Ochiang closes the distance and throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Okoth clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Ochiang slams a mean right hook into Okoth's ribcage.  OKOTH HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE ISNT GOING TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Ochiang!
