Boxing Daily Report from the Jamaica National Finals 2020,  taking place on 01/04/2020 from Spanish Town, Jamaica:

The Spanish Town venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Middleweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Alec Yuille (17 - 0) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and Brendan Elliott(15 - 1) from Kingston, Jamaica.  

Round 1: 

Elliott hits home with a cross.  
Yuille pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Yuille feints a jab, tricking Elliott into launching a right hook counter.  Yuille springs the trap, countering with  a right uppercut.  
Elliott steps inside.  Elliott pivots from in front of his opponent, but Yuille hits home with a left hook.  
Elliott steps inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Yuille tries to land a left hook, but Elliott slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Elliott closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.
