Boxing Daily Report from the Jordan National Finals 2020,  taking place on 01/04/2020 from Irbid, Jordan:

The Irbid venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Faisal Salaam (14 - 1) who hails from Zarqa, Jordan and Kashif Zafar(7 - 8) from Amman, Jordan.  

Round 1: 

Salaam closes the distance.  Salaam sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Zafar is on target with a jab to Salaam's body.  
Salaam is looking to close the distance.  Salaam pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Salaam steps inside.  Salaam attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Zafar's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Salaam steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Zafar steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  Zafar digs in a right hook to Salaam's ribs.  
Salaam lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.

Salaam steps inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Salaam closes the distance.  Zafar lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Salaam lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Salaam steps to the outside and drives a hard jab into his opponents face.  
Zafar attempts to land a jab, but Salaam slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Salaam gets on the inside.  Zafar digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Zafar steps away from his opponent.  Salaam lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Salaam lands a jab.  
Salaam is looking to close the distance.  Zafar attempts to land a left hook, but Salaam dodges the shot and counters with a left hook to Zafar's body.  
Salaam is on target with a left hook.  
Salaam closes the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.
