Callum Doyle vs Johnny Drews

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 17/07/2037 from Boston, USA:

The Boston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Callum Doyle (47(7) - 8) who hails from Boston, USA and Johnny Drews(1 - 0) from Baltimore, USA.  

Round 1: 

Doyle is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Doyle throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Doyle clinches his opponent.  Doyle pushes his forearm into Drews's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Doyle is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Doyle drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Drews manages to force Doyle onto the ropes.  Drews is on target with a cross.  
Drews closes the distance.  Doyle lands two right hook's to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Doyle gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Doyle strikes his opponents body with a solid cross.  
Doyle is looking to close the distance.  Drews tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Doyle hits the target with a ramrod jab.  
Doyle gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Doyle manouvers Drews into the red corner.  Drews tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Drews gets on the inside.  Doyle throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Doyle holds on to his opponent.  Doyle pushes his forearm into Drews's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Doyle.  
Drews throws a left uppercut, but Doyle clinches his opponent.  Doyle leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Doyle's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Drews feints a left, and then is on target with a left hook.  
Doyle is looking to close the distance and whips in a big left hook to his opponents liver.  DREWS WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Drews quickly recovers. 
Drews lands a right hook.

Doyle advances into close range and connects with a firm left hook.  Doyle ties up his opponent.  Doyle leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Doyle's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Doyle drives a solid right uppercut into Drews's body.  
Doyle sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Doyle drives a left hook into Drews's body.  
Doyle gets on the inside and drives a sharp left hook into Drews's liver.  
Doyle lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Doyle connects with a firm left uppercut.  
Doyle lands a right hook.  
Doyle digs in a firm right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  Doyle throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Drews pivots from in front of his opponent.  Doyle digs in a stinging left hook to Drews's liver.  Doyle clinches his opponent.  Doyle tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Drews's kidney. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Doyle.  
Doyle pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a stinging right hook.  
Doyle lands a cross.  
Doyle is on target with a powerful right hook to his opponents ribcage.  IT LOOKS LIKE DREWS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Doyle closes the distance and walks Drews down, trapping him on the ropes.  Doyle stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Doyle lands a cross to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body, AND SENDS DREWS TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  It looks like Drews has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Doyle lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body, AND SENDS DREWS TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  Drews almost instantly gets his legs back.

Drews throws a left hook, but Doyle holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Drews pushes his forearm into Doyle's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Drews to stop fouling.  
Doyle lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND DREWS IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Doyle!
