Edmundo Rama vs Isidro Yero

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 22/07/2037 from Sao Paulo, Brazil:

The Sao Paulo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Edmundo Rama (30(3) - 18(1)) who hails from Sao Paulo, Brazil and Isidro Yero(2 - 3) from Medellin, Colombia.  

Round 1: 

Rama gets on the inside.  Rama sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Yero lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Yero steps away from his opponent.  Rama lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.

As they grapple, Rama pushes his forearm into Yero's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Yero pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a jab to his opponents body.  
Rama advances into close range and lands a right hook.  
Rama closes the distance and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Yero is on target with a cross.  
Yero steps away from his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Yero hits home with a sharp cross.  
Yero tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Yero feints a cross, and then finds the target with a jab.  
Yero manouvers Rama onto the ropes.  Yero is on target with a stinging cross.  
Rama advances into close range and is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  Rama holds on to his opponent.  Rama pushes his forearm into Yero's face.  The referee warns Rama and breaks the clinch.

Yero switches the action to the outside and tries to land a jab, but Rama sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Yero tries to keep the action at long range and throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.

Yero is looking to keep the action on the outside and throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Yero steps to the outside.  Rama lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  Rama attempts to land an overhand left, but Yero sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Rama gets on the inside.  Rama pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Yero walks Rama down, trapping him on the ropes.  Yero lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Rama gets on the inside.  Yero drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Yero attempts to land a right hook, but Rama blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.
