Alen Riley vs Dave Smail

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 07/08/2037 from Boston, USA:

The Boston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Alen Riley (57 - 4) who hails from Boston, USA and Dave Smail(0 - 1) from Philadelphia, USA.  

Round 1: 

Riley steps inside.  Smail lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Riley retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Smail steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
Riley closes the distance and digs in a left uppercut to Smail's ribs.  
Riley lands a left hook.  
Riley lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Riley connects with a cross.  
Riley closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Smail sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Riley lands a left uppercut followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Riley is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Smail throws a right hook, but Riley holds on to his opponent.  Riley leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Smail hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. As they grapple, Riley pushes his forearm into Smail's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Smail throws a left hook, but Riley ties up his opponent.  Riley tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Smail's kidney. The referee warns Riley and breaks the clinch.  
Riley is on target with a left hook.  
Smail switches the action to the outside.  Riley is on target with a cross.  
Riley hits home with a right hook.

Riley closes the distance.  Smail sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Smail throws a left uppercut, but Riley clinches his opponent.  Riley tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Smail behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Riley.  
Riley drives a right hook into Smail's body.  
Riley steps inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Riley holds on to his opponent.  Riley uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Smail behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Riley to stop fouling.  
Riley connects with a cross.  
Riley lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Riley closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Riley clinches his opponent.  Riley is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Riley.  
Smail pivots from in front of his opponent, but Riley lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Riley is looking to close the distance and hits home with a right hook.  
Riley gets on the inside.  Smail pivots to the side of his opponent, but Riley lands a left uppercut to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.  
Riley lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Smail is on target with a firm cross.  
Riley hits home with a cross.  
Smail steps to the outside.  Riley throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Riley advances into close range and is on target with a right hook.  
Riley lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.
