Peter Elijah vs Sam Landon

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 14/08/2037 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Peter Elijah (34(2) - 21) who hails from Cape Coral, USA and Sam Landon(0 - 3) from Yuma, USA.  

Round 1: 

Elijah advances into close range and hits home with a left hook.  
Elijah tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.

Elijah lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Elijah finds the target with a jab.  
Elijah advances into close range.  Elijah pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Landon pivots to the right of his opponent, but Elijah lands a sharp cross.  
Landon sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Elijah is on target with a solid left hook.  
Landon steps away from his opponent.  Elijah connects with a stinging cross.  
Landon lands a stiff jab.  
Elijah advances into close range.  Landon is on target with a left hook to Elijah's liver.  
Elijah walks Landon into a neutral corner.  Elijah lands a jab.  
Elijah cuts off the ring, trapping Landon in a neutral corner.  Elijah lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Elijah steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Elijah lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  Elijah clinches his opponent.  Elijah is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Elijah gets on the inside and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  
Elijah closes the distance.  Landon throws a left uppercut, but Elijah ties up his opponent.  Elijah pushes his forearm into Landon's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Elijah lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Elijah advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  Elijah ties up his opponent.  Elijah pushes his forearm into Landon's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Landon walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Landon lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Elijah is on target with a firm left uppercut to his opponents body.  LANDON WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
It looks like Landon has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Elijah is looking to close the distance.  Landon throws a left hook, but Elijah holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Elijah pushes his forearm into Landon's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Elijah about fouling.  
Elijah gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Elijah ties up his opponent.  Elijah leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Landon throws a left hook, but Elijah holds on to his opponent.  Elijah uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Landon behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Elijah finds the target with a jab.  
Elijah lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Elijah gets on the inside and is on target with a firm right hook.  
Elijah closes the distance and throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook to Elijah's ribs.  
Elijah closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Landon's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!

Landon quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Elijah hits home with a cross.

Elijah lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Landon quickly recovers. 
Landon lands a cross.  
Landon throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Elijah's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Elijah throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Landon time to recover.  
Elijah is looking to close the distance and is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE LANDON WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Elijah knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Elijah lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND LANDON IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Elijah lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  He continues the combination and lands three consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body, AND SENDS LANDON TO THE CANVAS!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Elijah!
