Rex Solomon vs Jonathan Renwick

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 23/11/2037 from Anchorage, USA:

The Anchorage venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Rex Solomon (3 - 7) who hails from Anchorage, USA and Jonathan Renwick(3 - 18) from Sacremento, USA.  

Round 1: 

Solomon tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a jab to Renwick's body.  
Renwick advances into close range.  Solomon throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Solomon steps to the outside.  Renwick finds the target with a jab.  
Renwick is looking to close the distance.  Solomon is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Renwick walks Solomon onto the ropes.  Solomon lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Renwick steps inside.  Renwick pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Renwick connects with a cross.  
Renwick is on target with a cross to his opponents body.  
Solomon quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Renwick hits home with a left hook.  
Solomon quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Solomon is on target with a jab.  Solomon tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Renwick pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Renwick throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Solomon time to recover.

Solomon tries to step out of his opponents range.  Solomon quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Renwick hits home with an overhand right.  
Renwick pivots to the left of his opponent.  Renwick attempts to land a right hook, but Solomon sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Renwick's trainer is telling his fighter to play it safe for the remainder of the fight.
