Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 28/12/2037 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Joe Leishman (54 - 10) who hails from Tallahassee, USA and Joe Ritchey(0 - 21) from Chicago, USA.  

Round 1: 

Leishman switches the action to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.

Leishman sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Leishman is looking to keep the action on the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Ritchey closes the distance and throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Leishman ties up his opponent.  Leishman pushes his forearm into Ritchey's face.  The ref breaks Leishman's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Ritchey pivots to the right of his opponent, but Leishman lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Ritchey forces Leishman to back into a corner.  Leishman lands a jab.  
Leishman is looking to keep the action on the outside and connects with a sharp overhand right.

Ritchey steps inside.  Leishman hits home with a sharp left hook.  Leishman ties up his opponent.  Leishman is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Leishman's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Ritchey manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Leishman lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Leishman holds on to his opponent.  Leishman leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
