Arthur Baxter vs Dave Horner

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 02/01/2038 from San Antonio, USA:

The San Antonio venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Arthur Baxter (44 - 12) who hails from Austin, USA and Dave Horner(1 - 16(1)) from Memphis, USA.  

Round 1:

Horner steps inside.  Horner quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Baxter digs in a solid left hook to Horner's ribs.  
Baxter advances into close range and tries to land a left hook, but Horner sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Baxter advances into close range.  Horner is on target with a right uppercut.  
Baxter closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Baxter lands a cross, overhand left and a jab to his opponents head.  
Baxter gets on the inside.  Horner hits home with a left hook.  Baxter ties up his opponent.  Horner pushes his forearm into Baxter's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Horner about fouling.  
Baxter lands a jab followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Horner closes the distance and is on target with a right hook.  Baxter ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Baxter pushes his forearm into Horner's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Baxter sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a stinging cross.
