Kaede Obi vs Nao Tanaka

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 06/01/2038 from Fukuoka, Japan:

The Fukuoka venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Kaede Obi (29 - 6) who hails from Kitakyushu, Japan and Nao Tanaka(1 - 3) from Koshigaya, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Tanaka closes the distance.  Obi lands a right uppercut.  
Tanaka gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook.  
Tanaka steps inside and throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Tanaka lands an overhand right to the head, a jab to the head and a cross to the body.  
Tanaka manages to force Obi onto the ropes.  Tanaka sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Obi lands a jab.  
Obi is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Obi steps away from his opponent and hits the target with a hard jab.  
Obi steps to the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Obi connects with an overhand left.

Tanaka drives a left hook into Obi's body.  
Obi steps to the outside and connects with a sharp cross.  
Obi lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Obi feints a right, and then lands a cross to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Tanaka attempts to land a left hook, but Obi slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Obi tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a solid overhand right.  
Tanaka lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Tanaka steps inside.  Obi connects with a solid right hook.  
Obi is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab, cross and an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Tanaka hits home with a firm overhand right.  
Obi lands a jab, overhand left and a cross to his opponents head.  
Obi finds the target with a jab.  
Tanaka throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Tanaka is looking to close the distance.  Tanaka quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Obi drives a right hook into his opponents body.
