Vegas Pabon vs Steven Buchannon

Boxing Daily Report from the Americas Boxing Championships 2038,  taking place on 09/01/2038 from Zapopan, Mexico:

The Zapopan venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Round of 16 fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Vegas Pabon (41 - 14(1)) who hails from San Miguelito, Panama and Steven Buchannon(24(2) - 15) from New York City, USA.  

Round 1:

Pabon pivots to the right of his opponent, but Buchannon lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Buchannon is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Pabon throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut to his opponents body.  PABON WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Pabon recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Pabon steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Buchannon tries to keep the action at long range and tries to land a cross, but Pabon dodges the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Buchannon finds the target with a jab.  
Pabon steps inside and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.

Pabon sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a firm right uppercut into Buchannon's ribcage.
