Boxing Daily Report from the Africa Boxing Championships 2038,  taking place on 09/01/2038 from Douala, Cameroon:

The Douala venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Maslin Fauteux (9 - 9) who hails from Abidjan, Ivory Coast and Chris Kitumba(26(3) - 5) from Kampala, Uganda.  

Round 1: 

Kitumba sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Fauteux switches the action to the outside.  Kitumba finds the target with a spiteful jab.

Fauteux tries to land a right uppercut, but Kitumba slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
