Diego Giron vs David Lish

Boxing Daily Report from the Americas Boxing Championships 2038,  taking place on 12/01/2038 from Zapopan, Mexico:

The Zapopan venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Diego Giron (27(2) - 15(1)) who hails from El Alto, Bolivia and David Lish(31(21) - 6) from Kingston, Jamaica.  

Round 1:

Lish steps inside and walks Giron down, trapping him on the ropes.  Lish lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Giron is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Giron throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Giron is looking to keep his distance and finds the target with a jab.  
Lish steps inside and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Lish stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Lish slams a hurtful left hook into his opponents liver.  GIRON IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  HE UNSTEADILY TRIES TO GET UP BUT IS UNABLE TO BEAT THE 10 COUNT!  The winner by KO is Lish!
