Alano Lorenz vs Noah Hannay

Boxing Daily Report from the Americas Boxing Championships 2038,  taking place on 12/01/2038 from Zapopan, Mexico:

The Zapopan venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Alano Lorenz (27 - 11) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Noah Hannay(54(14) - 25) from Edmonton, Canada.  

Round 1: 

Hannay steps inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Lorenz switches the action to the outside and hits home with a spiteful jab.  
Lorenz lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Hannay is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook.

Lorenz sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Hannay hits home with a stinging cross.  
Hannay closes the distance.  Hannay sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a solid left uppercut to Lorenz's ribs.  
Hannay lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Lorenz hits home with a ramrod jab.  
Hannay lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Lorenz steps to the outside and lands a hard jab.  
Hannay steps inside and walks Lorenz onto the ropes.  Hannay lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Lorenz hits home with a left uppercut.

Hannay digs in a stinging right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  Hannay tries to land a left hook, but Lorenz blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to Hannay's liver.  
Hannay is on target with a right hook to Lorenz's body.  
Lorenz tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Hannay is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents body, AND LORENZ IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  
Lorenz steps to the outside and attempts to land a cross, but Hannay sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.

Hannay digs in a stinging right hook to Lorenz's body.  
Hannay sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Lorenz throws a left hook, but Hannay holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Hannay pushes his forearm into Lorenz's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Hannay about fouling.  
Lorenz steps to the outside and lands a jab.  
Lorenz attempts to land a cross, but Hannay parries the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Lorenz's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!

Lorenz switches the action to the outside and tries to land an overhand left, but Hannay sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Lorenz lands a ramrod jab.  
Hannay walks Lorenz down, trapping him in a corner.  Lorenz throws a left uppercut, but Hannay holds on to his opponent.  Hannay leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Lorenz is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Hannay lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS LORENZ SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Lorenz quickly recovers. 
Hannay is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Hannay lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Hannay walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Lorenz is on target with a left hook.  Hannay ties up his opponent.  Hannay leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Hannay lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Hannay clinches his opponent.  Hannay leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Hannay's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Hannay lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Lorenz throws a left uppercut, but Hannay holds on to his opponent.  Hannay uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Lorenz behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Hannay.  
Hannay lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Hannay lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head, AND DROPS LORENZ TO THE CANVAS!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Hannay!
