Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 15/01/2038 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are John Kilgore (2 - 3) who hails from Tallahassee, USA and David Edwards(0 - 1) from Charlotte, USA.  

Round 1: 

Edwards connects with a left uppercut.  
Edwards gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook.  
Edwards lands with a stiff jab.  
Edwards closes the distance.  Kilgore tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Kilgore pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Kilgore gets on the inside.  Kilgore pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Kilgore is on target with a right hook to Edwards's ribcage.  
Edwards lands a sharp right hook.  Edwards attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Kilgore time to recover.

Edwards walks Kilgore down, trapping him on the ropes.  Edwards pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Edwards is on target with a left uppercut to Kilgore's body.  
Edwards closes the distance.  Kilgore attempts to land a right uppercut, but Edwards blocks the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Edwards lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Edwards lands an overhand left followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Kilgore is looking to keep his distance.  Edwards is on target with an overhand right.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Kilgore's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!
