Jax Abalos vs Noah Hannay

Boxing Daily Report from the Americas Boxing Championships 2038,  taking place on 15/01/2038 from Zapopan, Mexico:

The Zapopan venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jax Abalos (31(1) - 14(3)) who hails from Managua, Nicaragua and Noah Hannay(55(15) - 25) from Edmonton, Canada.  

Round 1: 

Hannay gets on the inside.  Abalos connects with a left hook.  
Abalos steps to the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Hannay advances into close range.  Hannay quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Abalos throws a left hook, but Hannay clinches his opponent.  Hannay pushes his forearm into Abalos's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Abalos lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Abalos lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Abalos sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Hannay lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Abalos walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Abalos throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Abalos lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Abalos steps to the outside and lands a hard jab.  
Hannay lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Abalos holds on to his opponent.  Hannay pushes his forearm into Abalos's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
