Rodrigo Camilo vs Ricardo Pimenta

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 26/01/2038 from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil:

The Rio de Janeiro venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Rodrigo Camilo (21 - 8) who hails from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Ricardo Pimenta(0 - 4) from Belem, Brazil.  

Round 1:

Pimenta quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Camilo finds the target with a sharp jab.  
Pimenta quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Pimenta is looking to close the distance and drives a right hook into Camilo's ribs.  
Pimenta walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Camilo snaps his opponents head back with a sharp jab.  
Camilo hits home with a right hook.  
Camilo digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents ribs.

Round 2: 

Camilo digs in a sharp left hook to Pimenta's body.  
Camilo lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Camilo attempts to land a right hook, but Pimenta slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Camilo forces Pimenta to retreat onto the ropes.  Camilo lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a jab to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Pimenta almost instantly recovers. 
Camilo steps inside.  Pimenta throws a left hook, but Camilo clinches his opponent.  Camilo leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Camilo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Pimenta gets on the inside.  Camilo digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Camilo is on target with a cross.  
Camilo gets on the inside.  Pimenta throws a left hook, but Camilo ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Camilo pushes his forearm into Pimenta's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Camilo to stop fouling.  
Camilo lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Camilo throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Camilo holds on to his opponent.  Camilo is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Camilo and breaks the clinch.  
Camilo advances into close range and throws a right uppercut, but is off-target.  Camilo ties up his opponent.  Camilo uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Pimenta behind the head. 
Camilo throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Camilo clinches his opponent.  Pimenta pushes his forearm into Camilo's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Pimenta to stop fouling.  
Camilo is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Pimenta connects with a cross.  
Camilo steps inside and digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Camilo attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Pimenta time to recover.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Pimenta's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!

Pimenta throws a left hook, but Camilo clinches his opponent.  Camilo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Camilo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Camilo pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to Pimenta's body.  
Pimenta drives a sharp left hook into Camilo's liver.  
Camilo sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Camilo manages to force Pimenta into a neutral corner.  Pimenta attempts to land a left hook, but Camilo sidesteps and counters with a sharp right hook.
