Yuichi Gima vs Xabat Limas

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 28/01/2038 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Yuichi Gima (17 - 19) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Xabat Limas(4 - 10) from Leon, Nicaragua.  

Round 1: 

Gima closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Gima connects with a firm left hook.  
Gima advances into close range and manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  Gima drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Limas quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Gima digs in a left uppercut to Limas's body.  
Limas lands a jab.  
Gima lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Gima lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Limas lands a hard jab.  
Gima closes the distance.  Limas digs in a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Gima digs in a stinging right uppercut to Limas's ribs.  
Gima drives a solid right hook into Limas's body.  Gima tries to land a cross, but Limas blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Limas is looking to keep his distance and tries to land a jab, but Gima slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Gima closes the distance and is on target with a left hook to Limas's liver.

Gima lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Limas pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a stinging cross to his opponents body.  
Limas hits the target with a stinging jab.  
Limas tries to step out of his opponents range.  Limas quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Limas attempts to land a jab, but Gima slips the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Gima gets on the inside.  Limas hits home with a firm right hook.

Gima pivots to the side of his opponent.  Gima lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  Gima clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Gima pushes his forearm into Limas's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
