Alastair Casey vs Mark Mabon

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 30/01/2038 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Alastair Casey (53(2) - 7) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Mark Mabon(1 - 4) from Waterbury, USA.  

Round 1: 

Casey is looking to close the distance and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  
Casey lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Mabon switches the action to the outside and finds the target with a solid jab.  
Mabon lands with a sharp jab.  Mabon throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Casey drives a hard jab into his opponents face.  
Casey steps inside and connects with a solid right hook.  
Casey lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Casey crashes a mean right hook to Mabon's ribcage.  MABON WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Casey clinches his opponent.  Mabon pushes his forearm into Casey's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Mabon.  Mabon almost instantly recovers. 
Casey lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Casey quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Mabon throws a left hook, but Casey clinches his opponent.  Mabon throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Mabon to stop fouling.  
Casey lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  Casey holds on to his opponent.  Casey is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Casey's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Casey lands a left hook, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Casey lands a left hook.  Casey ties up his opponent.  Casey pushes his forearm into Mabon's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Casey.  
Casey lands a stinging left hook.  
Casey is on target with a left hook.  
Casey lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Casey manages to force Mabon onto the ropes.  Casey connects with a firm right hook.  
Casey is on target with a firm left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Casey pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a firm left uppercut.  
Casey lands a right uppercut.  
Casey connects with a firm cross.  
Casey advances into close range and attempts to land a right uppercut, but Mabon dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Casey lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Casey manages to force Mabon into a neutral corner.  Casey connects with a sharp right hook.

Casey lands a left uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  Casey clinches his opponent.  Casey leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Casey's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Casey lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Casey holds on to his opponent.  Casey is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Casey about fouling.  
Casey is on target with a solid left hook.  
Mabon throws a right hook, but Casey clinches his opponent.  Casey leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Casey throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot.  Casey clinches his opponent.  Mabon leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Casey's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Casey lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Casey connects with a left hook.  
Casey lands a ramrod jab.  
Casey DETONATES a WICKED right hook on his opponents face.  MABON IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  Casey clinches his opponent.  Casey is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Casey's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Casey lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  
Casey lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Casey is looking to close the distance.  Mabon throws a left uppercut, but Casey ties up his opponent.  Casey tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Mabon behind the head. Casey is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Casey to stop holding.  
Mabon lands a left hook.  
Casey lands a jab followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Casey is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
It looks like Mabon has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Mabon throws a left uppercut, but Casey clinches his opponent.  Mabon uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Casey's kidney. 
Casey hits home with a solid left hook.  
Casey slams a nasty left uppercut into his opponents ribs.  MABON WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Mabon quickly recovers.

Casey lands with a sharp jab.  
Casey closes the distance.  Casey sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Casey lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, DROPPING MABON TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Mabon cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Casey!
