Hugh Berwick vs Felix Mardock

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 05/02/2038 from Leeds, UK:

The Leeds venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Hugh Berwick (8 - 7) who hails from Bury, UK and Felix Mardock(3 - 6(1)) from Nassau, Bahamas.  

Round 1: 

Berwick lands a right uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Berwick advances into close range and drives a left hook into Mardock's body.  
Mardock lands with a spiteful jab.  
Mardock lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Mardock pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a solid cross.  
Berwick lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Mardock steps away from his opponent and finds the target with a sharp jab.  
Berwick is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Mardock throws a right hook, but Berwick holds on to his opponent.  Berwick pushes his forearm into Mardock's face.  The ref breaks Berwick's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Berwick lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Berwick lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Mardock switches the action to the outside and lands a stinging overhand right.  Mardock attempts to land a jab, but Berwick blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Berwick advances into close range.  Mardock throws a left hook, but Berwick clinches his opponent.  Berwick is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Mardock lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Mardock tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Berwick gets on the inside.  Berwick quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Mardock lands a solid left hook.  
Berwick is on target with a solid left hook.  Berwick ties up his opponent.  Mardock pushes his forearm into Berwick's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Mardock.

Round 2: 

Mardock attempts to land a left hook, but Berwick blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Mardock attempts to land a jab, but Berwick blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Mardock drives a ramrod jab into his opponents face.  
Berwick steps inside.  Berwick sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Mardock hits home with a left hook.  
Berwick walks his opponent into the corner.  Berwick lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Berwick ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Berwick pushes his forearm into Mardock's face.  The referee warns Berwick and breaks the clinch.  
Berwick lands a left hook to the body followed by two right hook's to the head.  
Berwick lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Berwick quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Mardock almost instantly recovers. 
Berwick connects with a solid left hook.  
Berwick digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Mardock lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Berwick hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Berwick steps inside and is on target with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Berwick gets on the inside.  Berwick sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body, AND SENDS MARDOCK SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Mardock throws a left hook, but Berwick holds on to his opponent.  Mardock hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Berwick lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
The right shot from Berwick could be enough to force the stoppage!  Berwick lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents body, AND MARDOCK IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Berwick!
