Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 07/02/2038 from Los Angeles, USA:

The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dan Valdez (47(1) - 10) who hails from Oakland, USA and Gus Roose(2 - 4) from Port St. Lucie, USA.  

Round 1: 

Valdez steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Valdez is on target with a left hook.  
Valdez walks Roose down, trapping him on the ropes.  Roose lands a right uppercut.  
Roose is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a stiff jab.  
Valdez throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Roose tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Roose steps to the outside and lands with a spiteful jab.  
Roose sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Valdez lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  
Valdez is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Valdez closes the distance and is on target with a right hook.  
Roose is looking to keep the action on the outside and tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Valdez lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Roose steps to the outside and connects with an overhand right.  
Roose snaps his opponents head back with a spiteful jab.  
Valdez walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Valdez connects with a right hook.

Roose cuts off the ring, trapping Valdez in a corner.  Roose is on target with a left uppercut.  
Valdez lands a firm left hook.  
Valdez steps inside.  Valdez pivots to the right of his opponent.  Valdez throws a right uppercut, but is unable to find the target.  Valdez ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Valdez pushes his forearm into Roose's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Valdez manouvers Roose into a neutral corner.  Valdez lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Valdez throws a right hook, but is unable to find the target.  Valdez holds on to his opponent.  Valdez pushes his forearm into Roose's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Valdez.  
Valdez lands a left uppercut.  
Valdez advances into close range and throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Valdez clinches his opponent.  Valdez leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Roose finds the target with a stiff jab.
