Chrestien Cevert vs John Trott

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 14/02/2038 from Quebec City, Canada:

The Quebec City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Chrestien Cevert (35(1) - 24) who hails from Lonueuil, Canada and John Trott(0 - 2) from Surrey, Canada.  

Round 1: 

Cevert gets on the inside.  Cevert quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Cevert advances into close range.  Trott goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Cevert's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Cevert lands a cross.  
Trott lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Cevert closes the distance and drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Cevert drives a sharp left hook into Trott's body.  
Cevert steps inside.  Trott tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.

Trott attempts to land a left hook, but Cevert blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Trott throws a left uppercut, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.

Trott steps inside.  Cevert is on target with a right uppercut.  
Trott lands with a stinging jab.  
Cevert lands a left hook.  
Trott throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Trott's body.  
Cevert advances into close range and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Trott lands a right hook.  Cevert holds on to his opponent.  Cevert pushes his forearm into Trott's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Cevert to stop fouling.

Cevert lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Cevert holds on to his opponent.  Cevert leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Cevert lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  Cevert clinches his opponent.  Cevert hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Trott advances into close range.  Trott quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Cevert drives a left hook into Trott's ribs.  
Cevert lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Cevert pivots to the right of his opponent.  Trott throws a right hook, but Cevert holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks Cevert's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
