Robert Fylan vs John Patteson

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 15/02/2038 from New York City, USA:

The New York City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Robert Fylan (55(1) - 4) who hails from New York City, USA and John Patteson(0 - 2) from Warren, USA.  

Round 1: 

Fylan closes the distance.  Patteson hits home with a left hook.  
Fylan lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Fylan is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Fylan is looking to close the distance.  Fylan pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a left uppercut.

Fylan throws a right hook, but is off-target.  Fylan ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Patteson pushes his forearm into Fylan's face.  The ref breaks Fylan's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Fylan pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Fylan pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a right uppercut.  
Fylan attempts to land a jab, but Patteson parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Fylan's body.  
Fylan gets on the inside and hits home with a firm right hook.  
Fylan lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Patteson throws a right hook, but Fylan ties up his opponent.  Patteson is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Fylan is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Fylan.  
Fylan is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Fylan pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Patteson attempts to land a jab, but Fylan sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Fylan voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Patteson accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Fylan.  
Fylan lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Fylan connects with a solid right uppercut.  
Fylan connects with a left hook.  
Fylan closes the distance and drives a left hook into Patteson's liver.  Fylan holds on to his opponent.  Fylan leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Fylan closes the distance and connects with a right hook.  
Fylan lands a cross to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Patteson recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Fylan drives a firm right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Fylan lands with a sharp jab.

The winner by KO is Fylan!
