Boxing Daily Report from the Ecuador National Finals 2038,  taking place on 11/03/2038 from Duran, Ecuador:

The Duran venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Super Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Juan Mario (2 - 6) who hails from Guayaquil, Ecuador and Larenzo Ceballos(29(3) - 5) from Manta, Ecuador.  

Round 1:

Ceballos sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a stinging left hook.  
Mario throws a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Mario is looking to keep his distance.  Mario quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands with a stinging jab.  
Ceballos gets on the inside and walks Mario down, trapping him in the corner.  Mario hits home with a left hook.

Ceballos advances into close range and throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Ceballos clinches his opponent.  Mario uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Ceballos behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Mario about fouling.

Mario switches the action to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Ceballos dodges the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Ceballos walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Ceballos sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Ceballos pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a sharp right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Ceballos sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Mario tries to land a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Ceballos lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Mario switches the action to the outside and is on target with a sharp cross.  
Ceballos throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.

Ceballos lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Mario steps to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  Mario throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Mario lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Ceballos EXPLODES a FEROCIOUS cross into his opponents face.  MARIO IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Ceballos's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.
