Boxing Daily Report from the Argentina National Finals 2038,  taking place on 11/03/2038 from San Juan, Argentina:

The San Juan venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Super Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Porfio Ascencio (26(9) - 14) who hails from San Miguel de Tucuman, Argentina and Vicente Zea(12 - 14) from Buenos Aires, Argentina.  

Round 1: 

Zea tries to land a cross, but Ascencio blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Zea lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Zea lands with a hard jab.  
Ascencio throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Zea closes the distance.  Ascencio connects with a stinging left hook.  
Ascencio steps to the outside.  Zea lands a jab to his opponents body.  
Ascencio tries to step out of his opponents range.  Ascencio feints a right hook, and then lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Zea is looking to close the distance.  Ascencio lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Zea is looking to close the distance and walks Ascencio down, trapping him on the ropes.  Ascencio drives a sharp right hook into Zea's body.  
Zea quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Ascencio lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Zea almost instantly recovers. 
Ascencio switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Ascencio is looking to keep his distance.  Zea attempts to land an overhand left, but Ascencio slips the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Zea manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Ascencio digs in a firm left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Ascencio is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Zea gets on the inside.  Ascencio throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Ascencio switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Zea gets on the inside.  Zea pivots to the side of his opponent.  Zea tries to land a right hook, but Ascencio slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Zea gets on the inside and walks Ascencio onto the ropes.  Zea quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Ascencio lands a right uppercut, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS ZEA DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  Ascencio clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Ascencio pushes his forearm into Zea's face.  The referee warns Ascencio and breaks the clinch.  
Ascencio tries to step out of his opponents range.  Zea lands with a sharp jab.  
Ascencio attempts to land an overhand left, but Zea slips the shot and counters with a sharp right hook to Ascencio's body.

Zea lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  Zea tries to land a jab, but Ascencio sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Ascencio is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Ascencio quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Zea attempts to land a cross, but Ascencio blocks the shot and counters with a spiteful right uppercut.  ZEA IS HURT!  
Zea gets on the inside.  Ascencio stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Ascencio lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS ZEA TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  
Ascencio steps away from his opponent.  Ascencio lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, KNOCKING ZEA DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Zea now seems to have got his legs back.  
Zea attempts to land a jab, but Ascencio blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Ascencio steps to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Ascencio lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Zea advances into close range.  Ascencio throws a right hook, but misses the target.  Ascencio clinches his opponent.  Ascencio leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ascencio tries to keep the action at long range and connects with a FEARSOME cross.  ZEA IS DOWN!  HE TRIES TO RISE BUT HIS LEGS DONT RESPOND...THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Ascencio!
