Boxing Daily Report from the Bahamas National Finals 2038,  taking place on 11/03/2038 from Nassau, Bahamas:

The Nassau venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Morgan Briar (4 - 5) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Wayne Vert(34 - 7) from Nassau, Bahamas.

Briar quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and snaps his opponents head back with a solid jab.

Vert tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Briar steps to the outside.  Vert lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Vert closes the distance and manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Briar throws a left hook, but Vert ties up his opponent.  Vert is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Vert tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Briar behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Vert about fouling.  
Vert quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Vert digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Vert is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Vert attempts to land a left uppercut, but Briar parries the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.

Vert is on target with a right hook to Briar's body.  Vert holds on to his opponent.  Vert is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Vert uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Briar behind the head. The referee warns Vert and breaks the clinch.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Briar's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!
