Sierra Trueba vs Xaver Cubero

Boxing Daily Report from the Bolivia National Finals 2038,  taking place on 11/03/2038 from Sacaba, Bolivia:

The Sacaba venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Sierra Trueba (66(3) - 16) who hails from Oruro, Bolivia and Xaver Cubero(2 - 2) from El Alto, Bolivia.  

Round 1: 

Trueba steps inside and digs in a right hook to Cubero's body.

Cubero throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Cubero steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Trueba on the ropes.  Cubero lands a stinging right hook.  
Trueba tries to keep the action at long range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Cubero lands a jab.  
Trueba is on target with a cross.  
Cubero throws an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm right hook.  
Trueba lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Cubero walks Trueba onto the ropes.  Trueba is on target with a jab.  
Cubero gets on the inside and forces Trueba to retreat onto the ropes.  Trueba throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps.  Trueba holds on to his opponent.  Cubero leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.

Trueba sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands with a hard jab.  
Cubero throws an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Cubero walks Trueba down, trapping him on the ropes.  Trueba lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Trueba digs in a potent right hook to Cubero's ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE CUBERO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Cubero almost instantly recovers.
