Boxing Daily Report from the Canada National Finals 2038,  taking place on 11/03/2038 from Lonueuil, Canada:

The Lonueuil venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are David Flower (2 - 3) who hails from Richmond, Canada and Joey Mabie(5 - 12) from Calgary, Canada.  

Round 1:

Mabie manages to force Flower into the corner.  Flower lands a jab to his opponents body.  
Mabie is looking to close the distance and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  Mabie throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  
Flower is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Flower lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Flower lands a cross, overhand left and a cross to his opponents head.  
Flower tries to step out of his opponents range.  Flower feints a right hook, and then finds the target with a stiff jab.  
Mabie walks his opponent into a corner.  Mabie is on target with a sharp right uppercut to Flower's body.  
Mabie lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Flower switches the action to the outside and lands a jab to Mabie's body.  
Flower lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.

Mabie steps inside.  Mabie sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Flower connects with a firm right hook.  
Mabie connects with a sharp left hook.

Mabie drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Mabie cuts off the ring, trapping Flower on the ropes.  Mabie lands a cross.
