Brin Mowat vs Charlie Durie

Boxing Daily Report from the Bahamas National Finals 2038,  taking place on 14/03/2038 from Nassau, Bahamas:

The Nassau venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Super Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Brin Mowat (10 - 8) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Charlie Durie(56 - 20) from Nassau, Bahamas.  

Round 1: 

Mowat is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross.

Durie voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Mowat tries to tag Durie on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!

Mowat throws a left hook, but Durie clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Durie pushes his forearm into Mowat's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Durie to stop fouling.  
Mowat quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Durie lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Mowat lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  
Mowat lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  Mowat attempts to land a cross, but Durie slips the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Mowat closes the distance and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Durie lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body.  Durie attempts to land a right hook, but Mowat blocks the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Durie lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Mowat steps inside.  Durie lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Mowat throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Durie clinches his opponent.  Durie leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Mowat throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Durie lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Mowat pivots to the right of his opponent.  Mowat connects with a left uppercut.  Durie holds on to his opponent.  Durie leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Mowat's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!  Durie's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.
