Boxing Daily Report from the Spain National Finals 2020,  taking place on 26/04/2020 from Donostia-San Sebastian, Spain:

The Donostia-San Sebastian venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Santiago Diego (11 - 5) who hails from Terrassa, Spain and Santiago Hernandez(8 - 4) from Malaga, Spain.

Diego feints a jab, tricking Hernandez into throwing a right hook counter.  Diego avoids the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Diego lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Hernandez throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Hernandez forces Diego to retreat onto the ropes.  Diego goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Hernandez time to recover.
