Melker Gunnarson vs Rasmus Ruden

Boxing Daily Report from the Sweden National Finals 2020,  taking place on 26/04/2020 from Gothenburg, Sweden:

The Gothenburg venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Melker Gunnarson (6 - 2) who hails from Stockholm, Sweden and Rasmus Ruden(14 - 1) from Gothenburg, Sweden.  

Round 1: 

Ruden throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Ruden manouvers Gunnarson onto the ropes.  Ruden lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Ruden gets on the inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.

Gunnarson is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Ruden manouvers Gunnarson onto the ropes.  Ruden is on target with a right hook.  
Ruden tries to step out of his opponents range.  Gunnarson throws an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Ruden lands a jab, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  
Ruden steps inside and lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Ruden pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Ruden lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.

Ruden walks Gunnarson onto the ropes.  Ruden pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut.  
Ruden hits the target with a sharp jab.
