Haaris Naim vs Abdul Sarah

Boxing Daily Report from the Uganda National Finals 2020,  taking place on 26/04/2020 from Gulu, Uganda:

The Gulu venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Haaris Naim (12 - 2) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Abdul Sarah(10 - 4) from Kampala, Uganda.  

Round 1: 

Sarah gets on the inside and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Naim sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a jab into Sarah's body.  
Sarah walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Sarah lands a right hook.  
Sarah steps away from his opponent.  Sarah sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Naim finds the target with a jab.  
Sarah gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook.  
Sarah steps away from his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Sarah gets on the inside.  Sarah sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Sarah closes the distance.  Sarah pivots from in front of his opponent, but Naim lands a right hook.  
Sarah switches the action to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Sarah is on target with a cross.
