Che Hoang vs Khong Hau

Boxing Daily Report from the Vietnam National Finals 2020,  taking place on 26/04/2020 from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam:

The Ho Chi Minh City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Middleweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Che Hoang (9 - 6) who hails from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and Khong Hau(10 - 3) from Hanoi, Vietnam.  

Round 1: 

Hau hits home with a left hook.  
Hoang throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Hau cuts off the ring, trapping Hoang in a corner.  Hoang lands a sharp right hook.

Hoang steps to the outside and attempts to land an overhand right, but Hau slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Hoang steps inside.  Hau attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Hoang time to recover.  
Hoang pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
Hau pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a left uppercut into Hoang's ribs.

Hoang steps to the outside.  Hau lands a jab.  
Hau throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Hau sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Hau advances into close range and walks Hoang onto the ropes.  Hoang throws a left hook, but Hau holds on to his opponent.  Hoang leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Hau is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Hau goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Hoang time to recover.  
Hau digs in a right uppercut to Hoang's ribcage.  
Hau manouvers Hoang onto the ropes.  Hoang throws a right hook, but Hau clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Hoang's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!

Hau advances into close range and throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Hau holds on to his opponent.  Hau pushes his forearm into Hoang's face.  The ref breaks Hau's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Hau quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Hoang digs in a firm right uppercut to Hau's ribcage.  
Hoang advances into close range.  Hau throws a left uppercut, but is not on target.  Hau ties up his opponent.  Hoang leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Hau pushes his forearm into Hoang's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Hau.  
Hau connects with a cross.  
Hau gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Hoang connects with a firm right hook.  Hoang throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Hoang steps away from his opponent.  Hau lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.
