Boxing Daily Report from the Finland National Finals 2038,  taking place on 26/03/2038 from Tampere, Finland:

The Tampere venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Super Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Maunu Alanen (4 - 3) who hails from Oulu, Finland and Torsti Nurminen(29 - 11(1)) from Oulu, Finland.  

Round 1: 

Nurminen stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Alanen throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.

Nurminen voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Alanen tries to land a cross, but Nurminen sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.

Alanen gets on the inside.  Alanen pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a stinging left hook.
