Chris Akuffo vs Danny Kotei

Boxing Daily Report from the Ghana National Finals 2038,  taking place on 26/03/2038 from Tamale, Ghana:

The Tamale venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Chris Akuffo (7 - 14) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Danny Kotei(31 - 2) from Kumasi, Ghana.  

Round 1: 

Akuffo advances into close range.  Kotei throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Akuffo time to recover.  
Kotei pivots to the side of his opponent, but Akuffo is on target with a solid left uppercut to Kotei's body.  
Kotei pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Kotei manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  Kotei lands a stinging right hook.  
Kotei pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Kotei gets on the inside and walks Akuffo down, trapping him on the ropes.  Kotei pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a sharp right uppercut.  
Akuffo switches the action to the outside and connects with an overhand left.  
Akuffo connects with a solid overhand left.  
Kotei closes the distance.  Kotei pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Kotei is on target with a left hook.  
Kotei steps inside.  Akuffo digs in a stinging left hook to Kotei's body.  
Kotei connects with a right uppercut.  
Kotei voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Akuffo tries to tag Kotei on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Kotei lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Kotei advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.
