Vicente Lince vs Xaverius Gonzaga

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 03/04/2038 from Ponce, Puerto Rico:

The Ponce venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Vicente Lince (56 - 7) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Xaverius Gonzaga(1 - 0) from Ciudad Guayana, Venezuela.  

Round 1: 

Lince lands a jab followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.

Lince manouvers Gonzaga into a corner.  Gonzaga attempts to land a left hook, but Lince slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Lince lands a right hook.  
Lince quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a stiff jab.  
Lince feints a right hook, and then is on target with a solid cross to his opponents body.  
Gonzaga sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Lince lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Lince lands a jab.  
Lince drives a left uppercut into Gonzaga's body.  
Lince steps inside.  Lince sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a solid left uppercut.  
Lince closes the distance and forces Gonzaga to retreat onto the ropes.  Lince quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a left uppercut into Gonzaga's body.  
Gonzaga lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Gonzaga lands a jab.  
Gonzaga throws a right hook, but Lince holds on to his opponent.  Lince leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Gonzaga lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Lince closes the distance and lands a right hook.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Lince's trainer is advising his fighter to keep his distance and coast to the win. Gonzaga's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!
